Africa, your beauty and radiance like no other, drawing all to you. From Sahara Desert to River Niger and the Atlantic, Zanzibar, Cape Town to the pyramids of Giza, Victoria falls, the smoke that thunders and the devil’s pool, you’re black and beautiful yet left desolate.
Africa, rich in culture, rich in heritage. Glamour, calmness and serenity revolves around you. The pureness of your heart heightens your zeal for hospitality. Your music and dance steps, graceful as that of a maiden adorned for marriage. Your harvest yields rain and sunshine all year round. The sun and moon smiles on your face and brings out the light shining in you.

Africa, now, your pride degraded, your dreams shattered. Ambushed by the white man’s tricks and outsmarts, your slavery begun and overshadowed you. The toils of our fathers before us brought forth brave men at war to build up Africa. Patriotism ruled the coast and love for independence intensified. Freedom declared and liberated yet a slave still you are.
Africa, arise, your innocence taken, you bleed in pain. Your children sob, fear and anguish evident on their faces. Wickedness abounds, we kill our own. Wisdom denied, knowledge hides from you. For just as a fish cannot survive outside water, so as the vitality of your children is the conduciveness of their habitat.

Africa arise; where is your freedom, where is your peace?
Africa arise; your culture is thrown out, your morality is stained and western culture now reigns.
Develop an attitude of gratitude dear Africa and acknowledge the staff of power you hold. Take that bold step to achieve bigger and better than your current situation. Eradicate all negative attitudes, let love lead and fear not, Africa, to start over again; this time not from scratch but from experience.
Africa, where we’ll forever wish to be
Africa, Most Desired Africa….
